C# Developer - Healthcare

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Backend Developer to join a leading organisation within the healthcare technology sector. This is a 6‑month initial contract, operating on a hybrid basis, offering the chance to work on large‑scale, high‑impact systems that directly support healthcare operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and modern architectural patterns
• Build and optimise SQL Server databases, including stored procedures and performance tuning
• Contribute to the design and deployment of distributed, scalable, resilient systems
• Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and Azure cloud services
• Document technical requirements, data definitions, and operational processes
• Analyse workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to processes, tools, and systems
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality software delivery
• Apply sound testing methodologies to ensure system reliability and performance

Required Experience:

• Expert‑level proficiency in C# and object‑oriented programming
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and modern DevOps tooling
• Proven background in building distributed, scalable, fault‑tolerant systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R
• Experience documenting technical and operational processes
• Ability to evaluate and improve workflows using process maps and flowcharts
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies
